📋 Your role and key responsibilities
Attached to the Product Department, you will be responsible for the complete transformation of Estreem’s technical documentation by adopting a docs-as-a-product approach. Your role will be to define and drive the documentation strategy (vision, standards, governance, and information architecture), rethink the existing documentation (currently living exclusively within the Office suite) and lead the transition toward product-oriented documentation. You will produce, maintain, and continuously improve clear, structured, and scalable technical documentation, working closely with engineering and product teams throughout the entire development lifecycle.
You will operate daily within GitHub-based workflows (pull requests, reviews, versioning) and write and maintain documentation using Markdown.
Tldr: You’ll take on a large set of legacy documentation and transform it into a clean, scalable, product-grade documentation system. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on big challenges, isn’t afraid of complexity, and is motivated by bringing clarity and structure to evolving systems.
Key Responsibilities
Migrate and restructure documentation into a centralized, version-controlled documentation platform
Define and implement documentation templates, style guides, and contribution guidelines
Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation (APIs, system overviews, operational guides)
Embed documentation into engineering workflows by participating in GitHub pull requests and reviews
Collaborate with engineers and product managers
Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product releases
🎯Profile
Education : Master’s Degree
Experience : 5+ years of experience in technical writing
Languages :
French: Fluent (C2)
English: Fluent (C2)
Key Skills
Technical skills :
Strong command of GitHub workflows
Strong expertise in API documentation (REST, endpoints, schemas, authentication)
Advanced technical writing skills using Markdown
Excellent written English
Knowledge of documentation tooling and static site generators (e.g., MkDocs, Docusaurus, or similar)
Functional skills :
Ability to structure and clarify complex technical topics
Comfortable working in cross-functional environments
Autonomous and detail-oriented, with an end-to-end mindset
Ability to prioritize and evolve documentation over time
Ability to work effectively in a Windows/PC environment, including the Office suite
Soft skills :
Strong communication and pedagogical skills
Ability to collaborate and influence, as the role will challenge and transform existing documentation practices

Permanent contract (CDI)

Remote work: up to 10 days/month (maximum 3 days/week)
